Selection Criteria and Fund Disbursement (Dharmic Process)

Our commitment to Dharma demands a meticulous and transparent process to ensure resources reach the most deserving recipients. KHNA Sewa Hands manages this process through strict verification and tiered approval.

    Our Commitment to Service

Sewa Hands aims to provide assistance to a minimum of five eligible recipients each month, in addition to prioritizing all verified emergency cases that arise.

    1. Application and Verification Gateway (The Twofold Process)
For Needs in KeralaFor Needs in North America
All applications for support within Kerala must be submitted through our trusted partner, Sewa Bharati. This ensures on-the-ground verification and due diligence. All requests for support within North America are initiated directly through referrals from verified KHNA Committee Members or designated Regional Karyakartas (Functionaries).

    2. Tiered Scrutiny for Approval

Our selection process is designed for maximum objectivity and integrity:
    • Tier 1: Expert Panel Review
      • Applications received from the designated channels are first reviewed by a dedicated Sewa Panel. This panel meticulously scrutinizes the needs, verifies the supporting documentation, and selects the most eligible recipients. The panel then forwards its recommendations to the Ad Hoc Committee.
    • Tier 2: Final Ad Hoc Committee Sanction
      • The Sewa Hands Ad Hoc Committee conducts the final review and provides ultimate approval for all recommended applications, ensuring alignment with our mission and resource capacity.

    3. Dissemination and Closure

    • Fundraising Launch: The approved cases are immediately published on the Sewa Hands website and across social media platforms for targeted fundraising. A notification detailing the case will be sent to all registered donors.
    • Fund Disbursement: Once the required donation goal is reached, the funds are promptly and responsibly disseminated to the verified applicants.
    • Case Closure: Upon successful transfer, the case is officially closed and documented on our platform. This cycle of compassionate service repeats monthly to ensure continuous aid.

The Power of Giving: Your Path to Sewa

Cultivating the Dharma of Monthly Giving

Every act of selfless service (Sewa) begins with a choice. We encourage our entire community to cultivate the profound habit of giving consistently. A small, sustained contribution creates a continuous flow of aid, ensuring the light of Dharma reaches those in constant need.

Your Monthly Habit of Compassion (The Sewa Pledge):
Commit to a manageable monthly donation (e.g., $$$10, $$$25, or $$$50). Your steady support allows us to plan long-term assistance for education, health, and relief programs.

    Empowering the Next Generation

We believe that instilling the value of Sewa starts early. We invite our youth to become active participants in this charitable mission. By contributing any amount they choose, our young members take their first step on the path of Dharma, shaping a lifelong habit of compassionate service and social responsibility.

    Ways You Can Act Now

Hands Donor: Contribute a minimum one-time donation of $$$100 to sustain our general operations and ensure all emergency needs are met.
